Welcome to my dream come true.
My husband (Murat) and I (Jo) first meet when I came to Side on holiday 17 years ago. Yes we are a holiday romance that has lasted :)
After getting together we spent many years living in the UK together, but in 2008 we decided that being married with 2 gorgeous children but never seeing each other because of working schedules the time was right for us to move our lives back to Turkey...and we have not looked back.
My first taste of Yoga started when I fell pregnant with my daughter 11 years ago and loved it. Learning to breath properly got me hooked and strecthing my body felt great after suffering from horrible back pain for years due to my long career in hairdressing. I tried to get to yoga classes as much as could over the coming years, whilst trying to juggle my business, children, and family life. (Do you know that feeling). The more classes I attended I started to want and dream of feeling this calm and reconnected all the time and this is when my dream came alive to open a Yoga holiday Centre, for everyone like you to take time out of there busy lives and experience what I was experiencing after each yoga class. So in 2007 we decided to sell up shop and leave our hectic life's and here we are.
My yoga studys deepened and I become a quailified teacher in 2009. We opened our family Pansiyon (where my husband Murat was born) in the historic old town Side.
I love what we have created here in this wonderful old historical town. This place is so special to us, like I said its where me and Murat met its been his family home all his life and holds so many wonerful memories. I am teaching yoga that I love to so many wonderful people and hosting great teaachers throughout the summer. I love watching the tramformation in people from the time they arrive to the time they leave. The chilled outness that takes over them throughout the holiday. Stress and tension releases, it really is lovely to see and to be able to offer a home from home enviroment for people to enjoy inspiring yoga, delicious food, to relax and re-connect for some well deserved time out in the sunsnine. Surrounded by rich Turkish Culture, history and golden sandy beaches.

"I have practised yoga for 12 years and I have never practised in such beautiful surroundings - looking up at the sky, trees and flowers in the courtyard definitely enhances the practice, as does the music and incense - the surroundings were really conducive to relaxation and enjoyment. Practising yoga three hours a day for seven days is a wonderful way to deepen your practise - I found that I was able to release and go deeper into poses than I ever have before. I like that Jo's classes were relaxed and flexible - tailored to the needs of the individuals in the class, and not fixed in stone - she seemed to know when we needed a more energetic or a more relaxed class".
